My Fit Pregnancy 20 Weeks

Wow, 20 weeks pregnant puts me at my half way mark!  Time sure is flying.  The past couple of weeks have been really exciting.  Last Friday we went in for my big ultrasound appointment with the ultrasound technician.  This appointment was about 45 minutes long.  We found out we are having a healthy little boy.  The ultrasound was amazing!  The nurse measured

my fit pregnancy 20 weeks the head, heart, arms, legs, hands and feet.  She also looked at the heart to make sure the ventricles were functioning properly.  We were able to see everything including all the little bones.

I also found out why I am constantly feeling like I need to pee.  Turns out he must like to hangout right on my bladder.  During the appointment he was sitting with his head up (breach) and very low….right on my bladder.  This would explain why I can use the restroom and 30 seconds later it feels like I have to go again, lol.  I can only imagine what it will be like when he is bigger.

Last Friday during my appointment the nurse measured my baby and said I was 19 weeks and 3 days along and weighing 9 ounces. This puts me a couple days ahead of where I thought I was.  I would then be 20 weeks and 3 days today.  At 20 weeks my  baby is about 10.5 ounces, 6.5 inches from head to rump and 10 inches from head to foot.  About the size of a banana.

On Saturday we had a gender reveal party for our family.  It was so fun!  What we decided to do was have a cake made with blue frosting on the inside.  Justin and I already knew along with my mom….so we had to keep a secret until Saturday night.  All of my siblings along with our parents and grandparents guessed what we were having.  Then we asked Justin’s mom to cut the cake (because we already knew) and everyone was so excited to find out our baby is a boy!  Now we have to pick a name.My Fit Pregnancy Week 20
